Resolute Software will blow out three candles on the birthday cake this year. Today, we would like to take you back a few years, up to the moment of its inception. In April 2019, two ambitious IT veterans from Telerik now Progress – Hristo Georgiev and Veli Pehlivanov decided to take the next big step in their professional development by creating а different IT software consulting company. Resolute Software would take the best from the entrepreneurial world and apply the most modern startup management approaches. Their goal was to create an organization that solves serious problems in digital modernization for global clients while keeping a strong focus on people and company culture and building a great place for professional realization.
In their endeavor, they attract Atanas Simeonov, a well-known businessperson and entrepreneur with an excellent value system and ambition to positively impact the business environment by investing in the new generation of people-centric companies. Hristo and Veli recognized in Atanas the partner with whom they would like to achieve their idea and turn it into what Resolute Software is proud to be today.
While Hristo and Veli had a great idea and the vision to achieve it, Atanas was instrumental in balancing this ambition and providing a solid strategic direction in difficult moments. Who is Atanas Simeonov and what is his entrepreneurial journey?
Atanas Simeonov has been in business for 30 years. He is a respected entrepreneur, investor, and ambassador for health and a sustainable lifestyle. As he shares, in the last 30 years, there are a few things he has not dealt with – from trade to imports, exports, services, mergers, startups, and business development.
The most valuable lessons he has learned and continuously shares with young entrepreneurs are:

Thus, the idea of Ocean Investments was born – a parent company to Resolute Software, AMATAS, and S Group. The goal of Ocean Investments is to discover and support the next generation of technology innovators, the same way as it helped Resolute Software.
