Yana is our newest Resolute Software team member, and we are delighted to welcome her onboard to head the recently created Salesforce practice here in Resolute. Yana is a consulting leader with many talents, she is passionate about technology, fitness, and healthy lifestyle. She is a mother of a sweet little toddler and a proud owner of a fluffy white poodle. Most importantly, she is a consultant by heart and loves a good challenge both at work and in her personal life. She is great at solving complex projects and at helping clients exceed their business results by using Salesforce products. In the next lines you will learn more about Yana and how she plans to make a difference here at Resolute.
How did you become a salesforce consultant? Was it love from first sight?
My first contact with Salesforce was as an end-user 8 years ago. During that time, I was a lead generation specialist at a company developing card payments solutions. I was using Salesforce daily for entering leads and doing reports. What pushed me further towards learning more about salesforce functionalities and products was my natural curiosity and analytical attitude. And this is how I became an in-house salesforce data analyst. At some point this was not enough as I discovered that what really made me passionate about Salesforce is not the software system itself, but the opportunity it gives businesses to enhance their growth. And this is how I became a consultant. I am excited about helping customers outperform their business results by utilizing Salesforce products. Every new customer gives me the chance to dig into a new business reality that nurtures my curious nature which is my true motivation.
How did you hear about Resolute Software and what was your first impression with the team?
Hristo Georgiev (Resolute’s Co-CEO) reached out on LinkedIn in March 2020. We were all in social isolation back then, because of the pandemic, so it was great to e-meet people with entrepreneurial and open mindset. Meeting Hristo, Atanas (Atanas Simeonov, Resolute’s Co-CEO) and Veli (Veli Pehlivanov, Resolute’s CTO) was enough to understand what the culture of the company they are managing is. I liked what I saw and that’s why joining Resolute Software was a no brainer.
What did you think of the recruitment process?
The recruitment process here in Resolute is so different and detailed than what I have seen before. I believe that focusing on personality during the recruitment process makes a dramatic difference and ensures smooth professional relationship inside the team. At the end of the recruitment process I felt honored to have passed it and at the same time flattered to be chosen to join a team of A-players.
Why did you choose to work for Resolute Software? What made you accept the offer?
When selecting a job or even a single project, firstly I asses how I can contribute and help, but also what I can learn from it and if I will enrich my experience. In the career opportunity with Resolute Software I saw a chance to contribute with my knowledge and expertise to our clients’ business and the chance to gain new entrepreneurial and managerial skills thanks to the amazing team of high professionals we have here.
What are your responsibilities at Resolute Software?
I am responsible for launching the Salesforce consulting business line. In a few weeks will offer and provide Salesforce Consulting services to our clients. Launching means create everything from scratch – business development strategy, marketing strategy, hiring a team of experienced professionals and managing all related business processes. My ambition is to help grow our pipeline and customer database and have the chance to complete complex and challenging projects while serving our clients at our best.
I am happy that I am not alone in this initiative. I am fascinated that I am surrounded by a team of highly experienced software engineers, senior marketers, designers, and sales and business strategists coming with extensive experience and the ability to challenge and inspire ideas all the time.
What would you say is your core competence? What are you good at? How did you develop it?
I am good at understanding complex business cases and giving expert consulting to my clients. My professional experience has taught me to be a good listener and dig deeper into business issues and roadblocks. This is the founding stone of a good consultant and only this guarantees a client is getting correct and highly efficient solutions. Of course, behind every solution stays not only the good communication with the client but also a solid background of functional and technical expertise which I have obtained thanks to the years spent working in the ecosystem and obtaining 6 Salesforce Certificates (Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Advanced Administrator, Pardot Specialist, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Platform App Builder).
Who are you outside work, Yana? What are you passionate about?
Outside of work I am a family person. I am a mother of a cute toddler and a proud owner of a fluffy mini poodle which is both exciting and challenging. As a mother of a toddler, I am trying to be caring, encouraging and attentive. I am also more motivated to be a better person so I can show example. As a dog owner, I enjoy training my dog outside and be aware of all the news around the breed as I am a huge fan. A funny story is that I always wanted to have a dog, but my husband was strongly against it. However, when I was 2 months pregnant, I must have been quite persuasive as my husband suddenly agreed to get us a dog. Now, he is even more attached to the poodle and lets him sleep in his feet.
Besides that, I am an outdoors person, I am physically active and an adventure-seeker. I do different sports and practice yoga. Me and my family like travelling and I hope that we can do that without any restrictions or any special precautionary measures for our health and safety, soon.
What are your goals for the future? What difference are you hoping to make at Resolute Software?
My goal at Resolute Software is to create a formidable team of Salesforce professionals who will feel happy and pleased to serve our clients and to accept new challenges and intriguing projects. Meanwhile I am trying to maintain and further develop my skill set so I can be a good manager and mentor.
What is next for you?
Next for me is to focus together with the Marketing and Business Development team on the strategy for how to best announce and promote our services and how to get new customers. Hopefully, our pipeline and customer portfolio will grow fast, and my focus will move to how to best serve our clients and further develop our expertise.
