Chalenge
The client’s aging ASP.NET platform was struggling to meet compliance requirements and was falling behind in user experience. Frequent crashes, rigid architecture, and a brittle test suite made development slow and prone to risk. Rapid modernization was not an option due to regulatory constraints, the complexity of legacy data, and a month-to-month budget. The solution had to deliver value immediately while laying the groundwork for a secure, cloud-ready future.
Solution
Resolute implemented a modular architecture using Angular, .NET Core, and Kendo UI to modernize the platform incrementally. The phased approach began with internal tools and moved to a customer-facing timekeeping module, reducing UI friction, increasing stability, and ensuring audit traceability. DevOps pipelines were containerized for future cloud deployment. Legacy data compatibility, encryption optimization, and a new BDD testing approach (via SpecFlow) ensured quality and performance at every step.
