Three years around the sun! Three cheers for all the Resoluters

Resolute Software turned three last week, and, as tradition has it, we honored the special occasion with loads of gifts, surprises, and noisy celebrations in and out of the office. For despite the tender age as a company, the team has many a reason to celebrate yet another trip around the sun.

Our company may have just turned three, but our team’s experience, skills, knowledge, empathy, the challenges we overcame, the way we collaborate, take decisions autonomously, and live up to our responsibilities all tell a different story… That’s why we thought it fun to ask you to try and guess the total number of years of our coding experience. What have we been up to lately?

On a hiring spree

Day in, day out, we celebrated on quite a few occasions in the past months. For one, we take the time to commemorate every team member’s birthday properly – with a birthday cake, presents from the team, and all-day celebrations.

We’ve been on a hiring spree in the past few months, adding new members to the team by the dozen. Imagine how many celebrations will be due shortly… 😊

We are a family

Our S.W.A.T. team of Resoluters is part of Ocean Investments, a family-run investment company whose owners have been in business for over 30 years. Last month, it was Ocean Investment’s brand big bang and inauguration party, so more celebrations were due 😉

We care

We donated to the “Plastic caps for future” charity initiative. The campaign results are impressive–until April 2020, 22 baby incubators are being bought with funding by the Plastic caps for the Future initiative. They were donated to small towns’ hospitals around Bulgaria.

Through the initiative, Plastic Caps for the future, more than 250 tons of plastic caps were recycled. The campaign did something more than donating – it excited many people that recycling can be helpful; therefore, we do not have to waste resources!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words…

The Charity Christmas bazaar managed to collect over 2,000lv. in a day:

Just a few days ago, we visited Every Dog Matters EU shelter to help with volunteer work in the sanctuary.

It is a place where a handful of people with big hearts take care of the animals, providing them with shelter, food, and everything necessary for everyday life.

Apart from donating food, toys, or old furniture, you can walk the puppies and give them much-needed attention and love. They are friendly, playful and give many kisses!

We are thankful to the Every Dog Matters team for having us and being such kind hosts!

Microsoft has been trumpeting the arrival of .NET Core, and specifically .NET 6 this spring, the platform where all future Microsoft investments in .NET will converge.

Our team of engineers has loads of .NET experience under their belt, which has been instrumental in helping clients prep and execute complex migrations from older technologies to .NET Core. What’s coming up

New office

The team is growing, and our housing needs are growing too. We’ll be shortly migrating to a new, more spacious office that will be able to accommodate our very Resolute credo better – work great alone, and even better together!
