FRAMINGHAM, Mass., August 25, 2026 – Resolute Software has been named a Gold Stevie® Award winner for Operational Excellence in the 23rd Annual International Business Awards®, recognizing the company’s work with SetPoint Medical on a mission-critical infrastructure migration completed with zero downtime and no disruption to clinical operations.

The International Business Awards are one of the world’s leading business awards programs. The 2026 competition received more than 3,400 nominations from organizations across 82 countries and territories.

Resolute Software’s winning submission centered on its work with SetPoint Medical, a California-based Class III medical device company developing implantable therapies for autoimmune diseases. SetPoint was conducting a five-year, FDA-regulated clinical trial with more than 240 active patients when its backend platform provider announced a permanent shutdown.

The supporting software infrastructure was essential to managing patient therapy and collecting clinical data. An interruption could have forced the clinical trial to end and delayed SetPoint’s FDA approval timeline by more than six months.

Resolute Software was brought in to migrate the complete backend environment under strict constraints: no code changes, zero downtime, full regulatory compliance, and a delivery timeline of less than eight weeks.

The team rebuilt and migrated the Kubernetes-based microservices system to a new single-tenant environment while maintaining exact functional equivalence across its APIs, endpoints, and dependencies. The migration was completed without disruption to clinicians or patients and met the required FDA validation and documentation requirements.

The project resulted in:

• 100% uptime throughout the migration and the following 18 months of operations

• Zero user-reported incidents or disruptions

• 240+ patients maintaining uninterrupted therapy

• More than six months of potential regulatory delay avoided

• No interruption to the ongoing clinical trial

SetPoint Medical CTO Bill Calle described the transition as exceptionally smooth, noting that the migrated system remained functionally indistinguishable from the original environment.
