Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be on the front line working on one or more exciting projects. Projects will be fast-paced and challenging and will require your analysis and critical-thinking skills. Managing both the software engineering team’s success along with the customer relationship, the technical project manager acts as the main point of contact for the assignment.

You would be a person who:

  • Manages client project delivery end-to-end
  • Collaborates with customers in a consulting role when eliciting their business needs
  • Acts as a primary liaison between the client and the UX and engineering teams
  • Owns milestones and product backlog while overseeing stages of software development
  • Actively communicates with the client and the team to determine any potential problems/blockers and address any questions or challenges on timely manner
  • Actively coordinates business requirements with the client and transforms them into features and user stories
  • Is accountable for customer satisfaction and focused on delivering valuable insights to the customer
  • Identifies risks and perform risk management throughout the project
  • Evaluates and monitors project delivery using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Acts as a mediator between the client and the company. Ensures that the work goes smoothly and both clients’ and company’s interests are me

We would consider it a PLUS if you have:

  • Strong quantitative orientation and knowledge of Agile principles and process
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Been battle tested in a high intensity start-up environment
  • Passion working with a team to get things built - comfortable being a team player

In this role you will:

  • Communicate customer vision and objectives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Anticipate, adopt and adapt customer needs and expectations
  • Manage product backlog and prioritize according to customer requirements
  • Describe features and user stories and define acceptance criteria
  • Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of milestone and sprint goals
  • Work closely with scrum teams throughout the development process
  • Schedule and lead meetings
